Dancing the role of Camilla in the recreation of the August Bournonville ballet Pontemolle. It was created in 1866, danced a couple of years and then forgotten, except for hand written notes by August Bournonville. Two Bournonville legends, Dinna Björn and Frank Andersen has from these notes recreated the ballet for us today. It’s history and present in one. And it’s wonderful. Pure dance joy. Enjoy!!
The ballet is part of a two performance evening called ‘Distinktion’ at The Royal Swedish Opera, the second piece is a modern piece by Sharon Eyal.
I’m dancing in Pontemolle these dates: Premiere 21st of october at 7 o’clock and 25th of october at 7. 1st, 4th and 8th of november at 7 and 12th of november at 3 o’clock.
